ABOUT

TAPP is The Authentic Prophetic Prayer. The vision of TAPP IN is to teach, train, and empower individuals to tap into their purpose, reach their destiny and desired goals and impact their communities and nations through prophetic prayer and God’s Word.

What makes us different is our authenticity! We are not like everybody else. Prayer and fasting is our lifestyle. We truly tap into God!

Not only do we pray, but we teach and train individuals to live the God designed life through courses taught through the TAPP IN Institute.

Elder Tekia M. Smith

A native of Miami, Florida, Tekia graduated from Howard University, in Washington, DC, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Her intentions were to attend medical school upon graduation; however, God had another plan for her life. God is still going to fulfill her desire to be a doctor, but for His glory with a prophetic ministry in healing and deliverance.

After pleading with God about her desires, Tekia accepted her call into the ministry. She obtained a Masters of Divinity Degree (MDiv) from Howard University. She was ordained an Elder in 2007.

One of Tekia’s mandates is to teach others how to tap in to the presence of God through the power of prayer. She is the founder of The Authentic Prophetic Prayer Symposium, (TAPP), where it is her vision to usher people into a true and authentic presence of God, through the power of prophetic prayer and spiritual warfare. She is also the founder of It’s Prayer Time where many globally call in every Wednesday at 5:00am for the word, prayer and intercession. In addition, she has founded H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Possess Eternity) FOR COMMUNITIES, INC., a non-profit organization that transforms the lives of individuals in the local communities through health, education, community awareness, and the fine arts.

Tekia has not given up on her dream to become a physician. She plans to join the profession in the very near future. Tekia empowers others by letting them know that their past does not have to be their present. She has a heart for diligently seeking God through prayer and worship. Her motto is: “Let’s TAPP IN!”
